The city will host a series of local economic forums aimed at fostering community dialogue and collaboration on economic development. The forums will take place every Thursday evenings throughout December at the Community Center, starting December 14th.
These forums are designed to engage local business owners, stakeholders, and residents in discussions about current economic challenges and opportunities within the community. Each session will feature guest speakers from various sectors and local government officials.
The city’s Economic Development Office is organizing the forums to gather input and ideas from residents on how to improve the local economy. They hope to build partnerships that will lead to actionable strategies benefiting small businesses and the workforce.
Previously, similar forums held earlier this year resulted in the implementation of several community-driven initiatives, highlighting the importance of public participation in economic planning. Community members expressed interest in enhancing support for local entrepreneurship and job creation.
Residents are encouraged to attend and participate in the discussions. For more information or to register for the forums, visit the city’s Economic Development website or contact the office directly.
